I was surprised at how quickly she came together. I felt a little clumsy at first working without knots, but she turned out beautifully. I added dried herbs from my garden to her body and she smells like home.
I'm just so in love with my spirit doll. I wanted to make a doll to honor my Ukrainian ancestors, and have as addition to my ancestor altar. When my kit arrived I was entranced by the sweet packaging and pretty fabrics. The vintage Ukrainian body fabric has a strong feel, and rolled nicely with my added herbs of lavender and fennel. Now, every time I pick her up and speak with my doll, I can connect with my dad, and his ancestors. Thank you for a lovely kit, it was such an enjoyable craft project and very easy to assemble. :)
My dear friend is Ukrainian and I purchased this along with a signed copy of Baba Yaga’s book of Witchcraft. The kit is beautiful with an array of fabrics. This was an excellent purchase, packaged beautifully and arrived quickly. I highly recommend this!
