Rae I wouldn't call it an "almanac"- it's not nearly so information-dense. The book is split up into four seasons, and recommends animal themes, plants, dishes, activities, etc for each one. The illustrations are beautiful. This is maybe for a more beginner witch, or someone looking for inspiration for seasonal activities...not a serious information source.
