Charcoal, cone incense and loose incense can get hot and can heat up your dish or incense burner to the point that it can crack your incense burner or leave burn marks on your furniture. To prevent this, use incense burner sand at the bottom of your burner to insulate your incense and keep things cool.
Simply add sand to the bottom of your dish or container at least 1/4″ (5mm) deep. Place your lit cone or charcoal on the sand and you’re good to go. You can also use incense sand to make any container into a stick incense holder. Add 1-2″ of Incense Burner Sand to your container and stick your stick incense in the sand.
This special sand comes in magical colors to give extra oomph to your spell work.
